Congratulations to our 3rd year CSPE students who successfully organised a visit to Dail Eireann as part of their 3rd year Action Project. The class were divided into 5 committees in order to plan and prepare for the visit to Dail Eireann. The group worked extremely well and demonstrated exceptional teamwork, communication and leadership skills over the course of this Action Project.
The 3rd years thoroughly enjoyed the visit to Dail Eireann. On the day they were enthusiastic and engaged as they wanted to learn more about the life of a politician. Their behaviour and enthusiasm was commended by the tour guide and Bobby Aylward. Bobby Aylward spoke to the students’ for over an hour and he participated in a questions and answers session with the students also.
We wish to thank TD Bobby Aylward for taking a break from his busy schedule and facilitating this visit to Dail Eireann. He really engaged the students and he commented on their interest and knowledge of politics. Well done to our 3rd year students who organised a great educational visit to Dail Eireann and who were fantastic ambassadors for our school in Leinster House.
Thank you to their CSPE teachers Ms. Butler and Ms. Corrway who coordinated the event with the 3rd year CSPE class. Thank you to Mr. Farrell, Ellen Corrigan and Mary O’Shea for accompanying the students along with their CSPE teachers to Dail Eireann.
