On 12th April Ms Doyle and Transition Year Head Ms White brought the Life Skills class on a trip to Thomastown School of Food.
For the half day session the students worked diligently and well behaved in teams of three or four.
The theme this year was Healthy Eating on a budget. Students prepared, cooked and served tasty vegetable and chicken skewers with sweet potato fries.
Students then observed a spot demonstration with chef on day of dessert pancakes.
An enjoyable and informational day was enjoyed by all students and a huge thank you must be extended to the School of Food for facilitating the visit.
